Over many years the iconic Dakota site has long been a late night crowd favourite. Located to the east of Melbourne in Ringwood within the City of Maroondah the strip has always been known as an entertainment and food destination. When designing the new complex, our objective was to ensure that our patrons had access to quality late night food options. The traditional American style hot dog has always been a fan favourite and we wanted to provide our customers with the perfect snack for a night of dancing and drinking with friends.

Fat Frank’s was born. We didn’t want to be just another late night food store as Fat Frank’s is so much more than a hot dog stand. We are a brand that relates to all ages, affordable and of the highest quality we pride ourselves on our product. With the choice of a traditional Bratwurst sausage or everyone’s favourite, the late night hot dog, we use only the finest ingredients and serve it in a lightly steamed hot dog bun. The Fat Frank’s brand is about community, it’s about connecting with our customers.
